ADMISSION PROCESS

B.Ed., course:

The Single window counselling for B.Ed., course is conducted by the Directorate of Collegiate Education through any one of Institute of Advanced Study in Education as Nodal Agency every year, probably in the month of June/July.

Any student seeking admission to B.Ed course has to apply for the above said single window counselling to apply separately to the college where seeks admission. Reservation of seats for Candidates belonging to OC,BC,BCM,MBC/DNC,SC Others, SC(A) and ST communities and Differently abled (both Physical and Visual) and for Widow and Ex-Servicemen will be made as per the rules and regulations of Tamilnadu State Government.

OC: 31%
BC: 26.5%
BC-MUSLIM: 3.5%
MBC/DNC: 20%
SC-OTHERS: 15%

Rank List preparation:

Admission will be made on the rank list prepared using the following criteria.

1. The percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in part III/IV at the UG degree

2. Weightage of marks for higher qualification
For Candidates with PG - 4 marks
For Candidates with M.Phil - 5marks
For Candidates with Ph.D - 6marks

3. Candidates with PG qualification only are eligible to apply for Home Science Subjects.

4. NSS 7 days camp/NCC-B/C certificate /Sports University /District I/II Rank.
